This is a blog to discuss just how weird the cosmos we live in really is. Here you can discuss the plurality of cosmi, membranes universes, Boson particles, time travel, and other things without being thought a lunatic! Bring us your thoughts, ideas, experiments (mind or physical) books to read, movies to see, places to go.
I’ll get the ball rolling with a movie, a book, and an experiment. The book is “Anathem” by Neal Stephenson. Almost a thousand pages long, and too short. I finished it and turned around and read it again. The movie: “Donnie Darko”. Deeper than it first appears, and a great story. The experiment: From the same case of water, take out two bottles. On one, write “love, peace, and joy”. Do nothing to the other. Keep them well separated for 24 hours, and then have a friend taste them to see if there’s a difference. After a few people have tried this we can discuss why there’s a difference.
